With just 16 students per teacher, and higher test scores than the state average as well as the Seminole county average, Walker Elementary is a top-ranked school. There is also a private school in Chuluota that goes up to eighth grade.
Chuluota is one of the few destinations in Central Florida where residents can live an authentic, relaxed life without the city stresses of things like heavy traffic. For those that need to commute, Orlando is just 30 minutes away, and Titusville is just 35 minutes away in the opposite direction.
Chuluota residents will have lakes and parks to enjoy, and the beaches along the Atlantic Coast are also easily accessible for day in the sun, surf and sand. Chuluota is also a fascinating blend of cultures, with residents boasting Khmer, West Indian and Cuban ancestry.
Although the population is relatively small, Chuluota offers a blend of culture, cuisine and language, making it an interesting and appealing place to reside.
